Explore Marsh Harbour and Guana Key in the Abacos with Adam, our very own Bahamian. Dive the clear Caribbean reefs, participate in some of the locals’ favorite above water activities and enjoy traditional Bahamian cuisine.

Four 2-tank boat dives from Guana Key
One 1-tank boat dive followed up with a little island hopping –Elbow Key (check out Hopetown here for lunch) and Man-of-War island AND – Island Adventure with the Rees boys!! – Head out on a boat with Adam and his cousin. You’ll be snorkeling shallow reefs along with participating in the local Bahamian custom of gathering conch & lobster (and hopefully shooting a fish). You will probably also get to check out the swimming pigs on No Name Cay and snorkel with stingrays on Manjack. We’ll finish up the island hopping enjoying our catch with a Bahamian feast on the beach!

Tanks for beach dives -- $25.00 for tank and weights
Kitchens in each cabin on Guana Cay, so you can cook for yourself and there are good local restaurants within walking distance
Tips – Boat crew, cabin cleanup staff, restaurants, etc.
Cost of Pig Roast Buffet on Sunday afternoon – Great local party that happens every Sunday at Nippers Beach Bar and Grill, which happens to be right next door to our cabins! We’ll go there after our dives.
What You Need:
Current passport – Must not expire for at least six months after the trip
Certification card – Don’t leave it behind
Gear: Regulator, computer, BCD, wetsuit (water temp should be in the low to mid 80’s), safety marker, mask, fins, snorkel, light (if you think you might want to do a night dive), camera?, charger for camera
Sunscreen, water bottle, jacket for possible cool evenings, Ziploc bags (you will probably use them)
Money – Expect to pay $25 to $40 plus beverages for dinner, $15 to 20 plus beverages for lunch in the typical restaurant there. Several meals are included. For the other meals there are restaurants within walking distance and there is a kitchen in the cabin. You can purchase food upon arrival in Marsh Harbour to take with you to the cabins for breakfast. And then of course, you’ll need money for the required souvenirs to bring home.
